Gurdjieff Bennett Canada, is a Toronto based group that supports and facilitates a non-dogmatic approach to the teachings of G.I. Gurdjieff and J.G. Bennett and others. It is the only Gurdjieff group in Toronto that specifically recognizes  J.G. Bennett as a foremost authority on the Fourth Way. The Fourth Way involves the harmonization of personality and essence, and the conscious evolution  of body, heart and  mind.  We welcome any inquiries from those interested in this approach to the process of psychological integration and the spiritual transformation of humanity.

 

 

ACTIVITIES WE OFFER

 We provide weekly interactive classes in  individual and group process on  thematic  psychological integration and spiritual  transformation. Regular instruction in the Gurdjieff Movements accompanied by piano and Persian drum are provided. Weekly teachings in the direct methods and practices of the Fourth Way are shared. These involve the intentional and gradual harmonizing of body, feeling and thought through a variety of specific inner exercises that were taught by G.I. Gurdjieff and J.G. Bennett.  Classes are also  provided in Sufi practices, such as spiritual inner exercises, zikr (chanting), Sufi studies of Mevlana Rumi and other Sufi Masters,  the whirling sacred dance to the heart for those who wish. Individual spiritual emergence counselling is provided upon request. Regular intensives, workshops and seminars are offered.
